Update, then download mapsorce,now works fine MapSource is 'compatible' with nearly all Garmin devices. But it won't add any new features to your device that don't already exist. For example because the doesn't support saved routes, you can't create a route in MapSource and transfer it to your like you can other Garmin devices that do support routes. When you download maps from Garmin, a copy is first made to your computer, then sent to your connected nuvi. Mapsource would now have that copy on your computer to use.
